This is my first Boudoir session, what should I know?
First: You got this! This session is all about being you and having fun! As your personal HYPE woman I'll be there every step of the way to pose you, adjust lighting, and take care of everything to ensure you look your best. You don't need to be a professional model to look amazing in your photos <3 Second: EVERYONE feels awkward and nervous about their first photoshoot so don't stress it! Its normal and okay and helping you relax into the most beautiful version of yourself is my literal job (which I'm happy to do!) Third: YOU ARE GORGEOUS! And you deserve to feel like it. That is what Boudoir is ALL about! As far as prepping for your experience I have a step by step guide that I send out before every session that includes what to do/not to do/what to bring! So you're guaranteed to be totally in the know!
Hair, makeup, fashion and glam
Hair, makeup, fashion and glam are a must and are included in all Mauve Maz Boudoir packages! You'll need to bring at least two outfits for the session but what those outfits look like is entirely your choice (though lingerie is typical). The standard is full glam/loose curls so be sure to show up with a fresh, clean face and clean natural hair (for those with natural curls, please either come with your curls prepped to be styled or ready to be photographed.)
Where do you shoot?/ Can i bring someone?
I have the perfect space in Fredericksburg VA to highlight all your favorite features! My biggest concern is your comfort and safety! That being said, outside of a couples session I do not allow any other people to view or participate in the session as a privacy and safety precaution. Trust me, you want this to be a YOU moment! <3
When/how will i receive my photos?
My typical turnaround time is 3-5 weeks depending on the season and other factors. You'll receive a preview of your album with the included number of photos that come with package, edited and ready for download. Additional pictures may be available for review with watermark and can be purchased separately for $50/photo. <3 Additionally, I will ask that you choose which photos from your session you are comfortable with being shared across my social media pages and website so that I can protect your comfort and privacy in accordance with your wishes. <3
